How is it that the most simple, uneventful weekend has been so full of wonderful memories? I don't want to forget it, so here I am! :)
Saturday morning we went on a guided nature walk in a 600+ acre park not too far from our house that we didn't even know existed... what an amazing discovery! We learned all about fish - the kids had fun and were such troopers! I can't believe what we've been missing out on this whole time! We will definitely be back!

Saturday afternoon was totally gorgeous so we rode our bikes to the playground and threw rocks into the lake. It was so nice to be outside, especially since it's been raining since!
Today we stayed in our PJ's most of the day - the kids played SO well together and had so much fun!
After a little quiet time we put on our rain gear and went puddle stomping! I was grinning from ear to ear the whole time, watching the kids with their big umbrellas and listening to them giggle! We found some pretty big puddles and had a blast!
The only thing that would have made this weekend absolutely perfect is if Daddy were home. WE MISS and LOVE YOU, Daddy!!!
