Catching up!

Whew! We've had quite a summer so far! We've been far busier than we usually are, but it's all been so fun! :) I thought I should stop and write some of it down before I forget, and before we are on the go again!

For lil man's birthday party we borrowed a Wii Fit and were able to keep it for a few days. Some of the favorite activities were hula hoop and running. Oh my, was it a hilarious sight watching our kiddos on that thing! Case in point:

Shortly after the big birthday we celebrated 4th of July. We spent a good portion of the day with dear friends and had a blast watching a neighborhood parade, playing/swimming/eating in our backyard, lighting fireworks in the street and watching an amazing fireworks show at the end of the day. What a blast!

I think the kids' favorite part of the parade was all the candy...they got TONS of candy...

In between all the fun and road trips we've spent a bit of time at home.
Playing in the dryer is always a fun activity...

I walked by Miss B's room the other day and this is what I saw.
I have NO idea what's happening in this picture but I think it's hilarious...
One of the most exciting events of the summer was the birth of my new niece...

We are SO excited to meet her in a few days! I'm hoping my bro and beautiful sis-in-law let me snap a few newborn pictures of her!!! :) (HINT HINT HINT) If they do, I'll be back to share those! (By the way, who looks this good two days after giving birth? It's just not fair...)

And last but not least, our little family of four just got back from a wonderful, fun-filled mini-vacation at a huge indoor water park - stay tuned for some video!
