Back again!

I feel like I've been out of the blog posting loop for a few weeks! I think I've been in a bit of a picture-taking/post-processing/blog-posting funk! I've been taking tons of pictures but they've been sitting on my hard drive, neglected, for weeks! We're really enjoying the fall so I thought I'd take a few minutes to share what we've been up to!

A few weeks ago we went on a stellar hike with some friends that hubby works with - it was three miles down to the beach and 3 miles back and the kiddos did SO well! We didn't have a backpack or stroller or anything - they were such troopers!!! Here is a fun one from down on the sand:

While hubby and lil' man were on their hunting trip my girl and I had tons of fun! Among the activities was a leisurely walk around the neighborhood, baby doll and stroller in tow. I only ended up carrying my girl, the baby doll AND the stroller for half the walk! :) Here she is giving me a sweet smile:

And giving her baby a ride on her shoulders:

We made fall-themed sugar cookies and got sprinkles ALL over the kitchen:

We went shopping for new winter hats and, while wearing said hats, managed to play superhero and pouty 2-year old all at the same time:

We carved a pumpkin with daddy:

And last but certainly not least, we had a fun-filled weekend with Ash and Lincoln:

Ash managed to get a pic of us at the pumpkin patch! Yay!

As always, your photos are utterly amazing. I love the first one -- you have one of the cutest little girls I have ever seen!... and you always have her dressed so cutely. I look at photos that I've snapped of Joanna and realize how often she ends up in mismatched clothes with hair all awry... she's going to think that I NEVER dressed her up! :-) I guess I need to do a few purposeful shots when she's matching.

Anyway, gorgeous photos all. You're an inspiration.
