Goats and chickens and campfire, oh my!

The kindergarten, first and second grade classes at our school were invited to the principal's farm last week and the kids had SO much fun!! Boys in Bow Ties

I'm just now realizing how far behind I am sharing pics from the last few months! I actually haven't picked up my camera too much lately...and I'm missing it!

I just came across this picture of my little man and his buddies from school - they wore these matching bow ties for their Christmas program and they looked SO CUTE!!! Oh my. Love these sweet kiddos!!!

This and That, Part 1!

We've been busy with lots of fun activites since my last post and I figured I should post again before I forget everything!!! :)

For starters, Lil' Man had his 6th (!!!) birthday. Even though his birthday falls at the beginning of summer I wanted him to be able to celebrate with his Kindergarten teacher and classmates, so Miss B and I made mini apple pies to take to his class. We had so much fun making them - she was such a good helper, from start to finish!!

There were also lots of fun Kindergarten activities that we got to watch and/or be a part of. The kiddos worked so hard building these cool volcanos and then invited everyone to come watch them "erupt." It was SO CUTE! Love these kids!!

Next up was Kindergarten graduation, where I had to come to grips with the fact that I now have a FIRST GRADER. I just can't believe my Lil' Man, THIS Lil' Man...

(And turning ONE!)

...is in FIRST GRADE! Whether I like it or NOT, time is just flying by!! But I am so, so proud of this funny, smart, loving, fantastic kid. He is awesome!! He looked so handsome all dressed up for graduation. He wore his Great Grandpa Ryder's tie and similar rockin' shoes to the ones he's wearing above.

Oh man, I LOVE this next one SO much. LOVE.

PJ DAY!

The principal at lil' man's school is named PJ. Today was his birthday so many of the kids wore their pajamas (PJs!!! Get it? :) ) to school to celebrate. It was SO CUTE! These are some of R's classmates (and his little sis, right in the middle!!) - love these sweet kids!! :)

First day of Preschool!

We all survived! :)

My little gal had her very first day of preschool today! She has been WAITING and WAITING and ASKING and ASKING and FINALLY her day arrived! Her and I got there and hung out for a little bit then she asked me when I was going to leave!!! :) I don't think she's gonna have ANY problems!!!

She sure is a spunky, fun, smart little one - I just love my kiddos SOO much. I am really enjoying this stage of life with them - it's so sad to see them growing up so fast but AMAZING to see them blossom and witness what the Lord has in store for them. I feel so, so incredibly privileged. I'm so thankful for my husband, and for the friends and family who come along side us, set such amazing examples and love and support us through life. (I LOVE YOU) *Sniff sniff *
